Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Dating back to 1865, it was on June 19th that the Union soldiers, led by Major General Gordon Granger, landed at Galveston, Texas with news that the war had ended and that the enslaved were now free.
If there were ever a reason to have a day off and eat with good people, June 19th is definitely that day!
Your guests will arrive and be greeted with appetizers of Deviled Eggs and Honey Jerk Shrimp. One thing about us, we love a lil deviled egg!
On your patio will be a buffet table complete with Fried Chicken and a Waffle Bar so your guests can make their own waffles for Chicken and Waffles. The Waffle Bar will have toppings such as Peach Cobbler, gouda cheese sauce, gravy, butter and syrup. We cant have this holiday without a few Creole Oxtails and Grilled Salmon. Mmm mmm MMM!
The Collard Greens will be seasoned with smoked turkey, the Macaroni will be the creamiest you've ever had, and the Black-Eyed Peas will be in a crock pot keeping warm. Waiting for your guests to grab a small bowl and reminisce on all of those New Year's Eve resolutions made right before eating a bowl of mamma's Black-Eyed Peas for good luck. Potato Salad will be chilled and ya'll will sop all of this up with my delicious cornbread.
You have 2 drink options: Sweet Tea/ Lemonade and Watermelon Limeade made with fresh fruit juice from my juicer. It will be your choice which one is alcoholic and which is not.
I hope you have pillows for all of your guests because the Itis will definitely be the Guest of Honor at this event.

The baker confirmed that a 8” Tall 3-4 layers custom is $85. A 8” 2 layer is $65.
